The Dutch healthcare system?
I have no experience of giving birth in the Netherlands,
I am worried about the difference between my countries and the Dutch healthcare system.
Language problems?
I know they can speak English in hospitals and medical institutions,
but will I understand the specialized medical terms?
Currently the only Japanese doula in the Netherlands
Maya Asakura, the representative of MIRAKU, is a birth doula and a member of the Dutch Association for Doula’s (NBvD).
A specialist of birth support
In addition to Doula, we will acquire multiple qualifications and skills related to childbirth and provide total support for the delivery of pregnant women.
Familiar with the Dutch healthcare system and medical circumstances
In case of emergency or when necessary, we can also arrange and introduce specialists, hospitals and administrative agencies in each area.
Reliable language skills for medical interpreting
Japanese and English are available at business level.
