Prenatal Care Service
Prenatal meetings / creating a birth plan
The prenatal meeting is a very important step for pregnant women to have confidence towards pregnancy and childbirth.
It is also an important time for birth doulas to build better relationships with client.
The birth consultation will be held between the birth doula and the pregnant woman (partners can also be involved).
At the birth meeting, you will be able to learn “You can choose your own birth method” and “Types of painless births in the Netherlands”. Next, we will create an original birth plan that meets the expectation of the client.
Doula will write down a clear birth plan.
The plan will be submitted in Japanese for client and in English to the medical team.
Preparing a birth plan will help pregnant women to understand their own wishes, make it easier for them to materialize their childbirth, and give birth with confidence.
Birth plan is not mandatory. However, by creating a birth plan and clarifying the wishes of childbirth, it is possible to ensure that the expectation of a pregnant woman is passed on to the medical team during a checkup and childbirth, so that the child can be delivered with confidence.
For example, if a pregnant woman is unable to respond calmly due to labor, the medical team can proceed with childbirth while confirming the expectation of the pregnant woman written on the birth plan.
Come with medical appoint together
We will accompany prenatal prenatal checkups and support pregnant women. In addition, greetings will be made with midwives and obstetricians, and communication with the medical team will proceed smoothly.
Birth preparation class
Birth preparation classes are held to prepare pregnant women and their families to enjoy a new life.
The class explains not only the flow of pregnancy and childbirth and how to deal with it, but also actually breathing, massage, and experiencing various postures during childbirth.
For first-time births, from the perspective of childbirth doula, we offer a childbirth preparation class in Japanese, which is considered important for giving birth safely in the Netherlands.
For those who give birth to the second and subsequent children, if there is a desire to have a lesson with such content, the lesson content will be tailored to your needs.
The content and time will be customized according to your needs, but it will be basically 90-120 minutes.
We look forward to your partner’s effective support for childbirth, so please join us with your partner.

Relaxation pregnancy massage
Relaxation Massage by MIRAKU eliminates various problems that may occur in the maternal body, and you can relax both physically and mentally.
Pregnant women have a variety of physical problems, and their stomachs are tensed and their blood flow does not go smoothly.
In particular, many people suffer from low back pain, swelling of their feet, and cramping.
We resolve those worries with oil massage
The oil used for the relaxation massage of MIRAKU is a natural basic oil mix (not aroma).
Aroma oils are not used because maternal preferences and mood tend to differ greatly.
If you have the oil you want, we will use it.
Relaxation massage treatments are intended for pregnant women after the 32nd week of late pregnancy.
In the early pregnancy, the placenta is not completed, the mood is unstable due to hindrance, and the stomach changes significantly in the middle period, so after 32 weeks when the size is stable to some extent, the most swelling and other troubles can be expected
Week 37, 38, 39
From 37 weeks of gestation, we will enter the “full birth period *”.
During this time, the pregnant woman’s body becomes heavier and more tired, and she has less time to relax, including frequent urination and shorter sleep.
Beginning at the 37th week, we will provide pregnant women with sessions tailored to their condition at the time (including helping them) to increase their time to relax.
For example, swelling of the feet is massage, low back pain is cupping therapy, moxibustion.
If you are not ready for hospitalization yet, help with preparation.
Workshops for those who want a little more pain relief.
* The term of full birth refers to 5 weeks before and after the expected birth date, indicating that it is time for the baby to be born anytime. Generally during this time, the baby also grows bigger, prepares to be born, and descends steadily down the uterus.

Giving birth
We will wait 24 hours a day for a total of 5 weeks from 3 weeks before the expected birth, which is the term of birth, to 2 weeks after the expected date, and rush immediately.
If you are unable to withstand labor pains during childbirth, you will be able to consult on the spot in Japanese, and doula will tell you your wished to the Dutch medical team, so you can go to childbirth with confidence.
During childbirth, we use Rebozo (a large cloth from South America), aromatherapy, foot massage, shiatsu, moxibustion and cupping therapy, etc. to relieve pain.
After the baby’s birth, you will be accompanied by basic photography, nursing support, and personal care for about two hours.

Postpartum visit
I will visit your home and talk to your family about childbirth.
Postpartum closing ceremony
At six to eight weeks after childbirth, it is a ceremony to squeeze the bones and end the delivery.
I use about 6 South American large clothes(Rebozo).
Then, lay on the floor and wrap the head, shoulders, belly, buttocks, and feet carefully and squeeze them together.
At first, unfamiliarity can be confusing.
However, once you experience it, it is a luxurious time to be able to squeeze with full power in silence and two people.
I think that moms who raise small children desperately will be able to enjoy the quiet time alone for a moment.
For this reason, we recommend that you perform the treatment when someone is looking at the baby or when the baby is sleeping.
Postpartum Doula
Mainly mental and physical support of mom.
If necessary, doulas can also do housework, but at birth doulas, Relaxation massages, soak in herbal baths, have one person’s time secured, squeeze the pelvis distorted by pregnancy.
* Doula does not visit during maternity care nursing.
* Doula does not provide any medical treatment.
* Doulas are not covered by the insurance company, and may be paid entirely by yourself.
